Terms of service
These Terms of Use (“Terms”) govern the conditions for using the online shop service (“Service”) provided by Yamamoto Seiko Co., Ltd. (“Company”) through this website.
All users shall use the Service in accordance with these Terms.
For the purposes of these Terms, “User” means any person who browses, uses, or purchases products through the Service, regardless of whether they have completed member registration.
Article 1 (Application)
These Terms shall apply to all relationships relating to the use of the Service between the User and the Company.
In addition to these Terms, the Company may establish various rules and provisions regarding the use of the Service (“Individual Provisions”). Regardless of their title, such Individual Provisions shall constitute a part of these Terms.
In the event of any inconsistency between these Terms and any Individual Provisions, the Individual Provisions shall prevail unless otherwise specified.
Article 2 (User Registration)
Registration for the Service shall be completed when an applicant agrees to these Terms, applies in the manner prescribed by the Company, and receives approval from the Company.
The Company may refuse a registration application if it determines that any of the following applies:
- False information was provided during the registration process.
- The applicant has previously violated these Terms.
- The Company otherwise determines that registration is inappropriate.
Article 3 (Management of Authentication Information)
Users shall properly manage their user ID and password at their own responsibility.
Users may not transfer, lend, or share their user ID or password with any third party.
The Company shall regard any use of the Service through registered authentication credentials as use by the registered User.
The Company shall not be liable for any damages arising from inadequate management, misuse, or unauthorized use of authentication information by a third party, except in cases of intentional misconduct or gross negligence by the Company.
Article 4 (Sales Contract)
A sales contract shall be concluded when the User places an order and the Company notifies the User of its acceptance.
Ownership of the product shall transfer to the User when the Company delivers the product to the shipping carrier.
The Company may refuse an order in any of the following cases:
- The User has violated these Terms.
- Delivery cannot be completed due to an unknown address or prolonged absence.
- The Company determines that the relationship of trust between the User and the Company has otherwise been impaired.
Payment methods, shipping methods, order cancellations, returns, and other procedures shall be governed separately by the Company’s policies.
Article 5 (Intellectual Property Rights)
Copyrights and all other intellectual property rights relating to product photographs and other content provided through the Service (“Content”) belong to the Company or other legitimate rights holders.
Users may not reproduce, republish, modify, or otherwise use such Content without prior authorization.
Article 6 (Prohibited Conduct)
Users shall not engage in any of the following activities when using the Service:
- Violating laws or public order and morals
- Infringing copyrights, trademarks, or other intellectual property rights
- Destroying or interfering with the Company’s servers or network functions
- Using information obtained through the Service for commercial purposes
- Interfering with the operation of the Service
- Unauthorized access or attempts to gain unauthorized access
- Collecting or storing personal information of other users
- Impersonating another user
- Providing benefits directly or indirectly to anti-social forces
- Any other conduct deemed inappropriate by the Company
Article 7 (Suspension of the Service)

The Company shall not be liable for damages arising from such suspension or interruption except in cases of intentional misconduct or gross negligence by the Company.
Article 8 (Restrictions on Use and Deregistration)
The Company may restrict the use of the Service without prior notice if any of the following applies:

- False registration information
- Suspension of a payment method
- Failure to fulfill payment obligations
- Failure to respond to communications from the Company for a certain period
- No use of the Service for an extended period
- Any other circumstance in which the Company determines that continued use is inappropriate
The Company shall not be liable for any damages arising from actions taken under this Article.
Article 9 (Withdrawal)
Users may withdraw from the Service by completing the procedures prescribed by the Company.
Article 10 (Disclaimer and Limitation of Liability)
The Company does not warrant that the Service is free from defects, including but not limited to safety, reliability, accuracy, completeness, effectiveness, fitness for a particular purpose, security vulnerabilities, errors, bugs, or infringement of rights.
The Company shall not be liable for any damages incurred by Users arising from the Service, except in cases of intentional misconduct or gross negligence by the Company.
The Company shall not be responsible for any transactions, communications, or disputes between Users or between a User and any third party arising in connection with the Service.
Article 11 (Changes to the Service)
The Company may change the content of the Service or discontinue its provision without prior notice to Users.
Article 12 (Amendment of the Terms)
The Company may amend these Terms whenever it deems necessary without prior notice to Users.
Continued use of the Service after such amendments shall constitute acceptance of the revised Terms.

Article 16 (Governing Law and Jurisdiction)
These Terms shall be governed by and construed in accordance with the laws of Japan.
Any dispute arising in connection with the Service shall be subject to the exclusive jurisdiction of the court having jurisdiction over the location of the Company’s principal office.
